A History of Serving
For over eighty years, Rochester Family Mission (RFM) has been serving the needs of urban families in the inner city of Rochester.
Our Vision: to share the good news of Jesus Christ while we care for men, women and children by reaching out in Christian love to meet spiritual and practical material needs.
RFM has been faithfully providing food for families and clothing for children within the city of Rochester. The faithful contributions of supporting churches, individuals and organizations are helping to meet some of the basic material needs in our community.
RFM has been called to serve and to strengthen the family by meeting their spiritual and material needs.
The Mission provides a spiritually supportive program of counseling, instruction, and encouragement.
We present Christian standards for conduct and lifestyle to young people through a year-round program of youth ministries and contact with adult role models.
RFM offers a comprehensive program of adult Christian education for pastors and laypersons through RICE, the Rochester Institute of Christian Education.
The Mission develops responsible, literate and productive citizens of personal integrity.
