Holiday Basket & Toys Project Coordinators

Site Content

Thank You!

We are grateful for all churches and individuals who help us with our many projects during the year. May God bless you all richly.

Tammy (first person on the left, top row) oversees the sorting and packing of the toys for distribution. She has a lot of help including her wonderful husband. They make a great team! We appreciate all you do. Blessings to you for what you have given to so many.

Browncroft Community Church

Jack Starversky

Jack Staverky oversees the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday programs at Browncroft Community Church. He coordinates the toy project, collecting over 300 toys a year for children at RFMission. He is not a one-man operation; he has many volunteers at the church who help him make this program a success. Pastor Rob and the entire BCC family has been faithful over what God has given them, and therefore He will give them more! Love you all…

City Hope Church

 City Hope Church

City Hope, formerly known as Gates Wesleyan Church, this congregation is very supportive of RFMission. Every year, our staff is invited to their Christmas luncheon, where the food is delicious. We have devotions and eat until we are full. Then they give our staff gifts and toys to take back to the children at the Mission.

What a blessing!

Orchard Community Church

 Claudia Zuch

Claudia Zuch is a former RFM Board member. She has coordinated the toy project for her church for many years. The teens at Orchard Community have helped in so many ways over the years by stuffing envelopes, preparing Christmas stockings for the children, and much more. You can find Claudia, her mother, and Barbara preparing meals for our Wednesday Night Community Bible Study, Summer Camp and the Tutoring Program. They cooked the turkey we served at the annual banquet. Orchard pastor and the church family, God sees your good work!

Our Savior Lutheran Church

Jerry Stitch

Jerry Stitch and others have kindly provided toys for our children during the holidays. Their faithfulness to families in the inner-city is really appreciated. It has always been

about what we do for God. Seeing

the smiles on the children’s faces helps them see God. Your work will not go unrewarded!

Pearce Church

Terry & Sherri Taber

 Thanksgiving Baskets Coordinators

A few years back, the Mission was struggling to maintain their programs. The board of directors had to decide between ending either the Thanksgiving or Christmas project. They chose to discontinue the Thanksgiving program. I only told a few people about this as I prayed that God would make a way. I received a call from Terry Taber. He asked if I would be willing to be a part of Pearce’s holiday basket distribution to needy families in the city. God answered my prayer. Do not ever underestimate the power of prayer. Being a member of Pearce is a blessing. Pearce has others who have faithfully helped at the mission, like Mendal Dick and Brian Babcock.

We are grateful to Pearce and its members for their contribution to the kingdom. Well done, my good and faithful servants!

Pittsford Community Church

 Mary Ellen Reed

Mary Ellen Reed coordinates the toy project at Pittsford Community Church. She has many who assist her with this work, including her husband, as seen in the above picture. Pittsford is blessed to have Dana Goodnough as its pastor and his amazing wife, Monica, whom I call “my friend.”

They both believe in supporting mission work, both local and abroad. Having a mission board that supports these efforts is astounding.

Thanks to everyone at PCC.

A great reward awaits you all!

Toy Project Supports

Ridgeland Community Church

Each year, I am surprised by the things this congregation does. Gail Kelly and her team have done an awesome work. The number of toys your church provides increases

every year. Job well done!

I will keep Pastor Zeb and the entire congregation in prayer. The love

that you have toward urban ministry

is seen weekly when food is

dropped off at the mission.

Blessings to the RCC family.

Rochester Christian Reformed Church

You have been a blessing to families at the Mission. Your support for the Bible institute has allowed many students from the inner-city to learn how to “rightfully divide the Word of truth.” We are forever grateful

for your contributions.

I see the love of Christ in your ministry by how it is displayed in your faithfulness to building the kingdom.

Spencerport Wesleyan Church

For several years, you have supported the Mission, and it is greatly appreciated. Carol Henry and others who help her with the toy project are always willing to lend a hand. The gifts the children receive are a blessing. They are often the only gift that these children receive. It takes you working with us to get this job done. I would not be able to do this without the church’s support.

God sees your good work!

Victorious Living Church

It is a blessing to give!

Pastor Mike, thank you for your many contributions on behalf of the church. We know that God has worked through your heart to help families in need. You are a blessing, and I am happy to be your wife. Your support over the years will not go unrewarded. Your involvement is this ministry has required much sacrifice. Coming from Jamaica, I know this was not your initial plan. I thank God you came on board. My heart has always been for those who need help the most.

Praise God!

Webster Bible Church

Sandi Clark

Sharing Love Daily!

Sandy Clark has faithfully organized the toy project at the church. Job well done! I was blessed this Christmas to be invited to breakfast with her and other members from the church. Seeing Barbara Halliman was the highlight of the season. Webster Bible Church is an example of Christ by serving and supporting the work of the poor. Every time I am at the church, I feel like family. Love you all, and I am happy to be part of the family. God has called us His sons and daughters, which makes all of us FAMILY!

This could be YOU!
