OUR MISSION / OUR VISION

The mission has been serving the Rochester community since 1927. Our original name was Gospel Tabernacle Social Welfare & It’s Vicinity, Inc. In 1999, the name changed to Rochester Family Mission. In 2019, after much thought and the change in our culture, Dr. Barbara JP Thomas, President/CEO, and the board of directors changed the name to RFMission. Through hard work and the dedication of our faithful supporters and many volunteers, we continue to be a strong foundation in our community. The mission will flourish because of people like yourself!
