Health & Wellness
We promote and support personal growth, wellness, and improved quality of life by delivering comprehensive behavioral health services to individuals and families in Monroe County.
Individual
Individual counseling is an effective therapeutic intervention for addressing various concerns. These concerns include but are not limited to, emotional disturbances such as anger, depression, and anxiety, as well as issues related to substance abuse, relationship challenges, parenting problems, school difficulties, and career changes.
Marriage & Family
It is important to break free from recurring arguments that lead nowhere. Consider the initial attributes or behaviors demonstrated by your partner that engendered a sense of attraction. Many partnerships experience periods of stagnation, leading individuals to question the progression of their current state and seek methods for moving forward.
Group
During our group counseling sessions, a small number of participants, ranging from two to 12, come together in person to address their challenges and issues with the guidance of one or two mental health professionals. These sessions offer support, different perspectives, and often suggestions and examples for personal growth to individuals facing difficulties on their own. Group counseling can be beneficial as the primary form of therapy or as a complement to individual therapy. We meet regularly, once a week, for sessions lasting from one to two hours.

Personal wellness includes physical activity, nutrition, medical care, body image, and energy/vitality. It also involves an individual's connection to something larger than oneself, personal values, meaning, ethics, or faith. In addition, personal wellness includes life skills and experience, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and self-awareness.
