ANNUAL REPORTS

  • January - December

God has always asked his people to provide for the poor. However, he was not merely making a suggestion or even a request, or something God's people did to serve the poor only if they felt like it. Instead, God commanded his people to feed the poor, often in particular ways.

The book of James 2:15-16 says, "Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, 'Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well,' but then you don't give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?

God commands us to put our faith and love into action and do something about the needs of the poor. He wants us "to feed the hungry, to clothe the needy, and to help figure out ways to shelter the homeless in a way that will help them get back on their feet again."

We have been able to fulfill these requirements from God. Although every year brings challenges, 2022 was the same. God reminds us daily that with the challenges come victories. We saw the hand of God on RFMission in 2022 through the support of businesses, churches, and individuals in our community. Therefore, we had a successful year.

    Matthew 25:35-40 NIV

35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
